New Lens!

My new camera lens came in the mail today, so I took a few tests. This one was the best out of the first batch. I should have exposed it for a little bit longer. If you look at the picture from the right side slightly on an lcd monitor that is how I would have liked it to be exposed.

In other news, Sandra and I will be headed to Vegas. I got my lens just in time to head to Red Rock Canyon. We will definitely take the scenic drive through. James told me a bunch of good places to climb (or watch climbers climb). If there are short hikes and Sandra is up for it then we will check them out. He also told me to see if I can wait until all the traffic has left the park, so I can really try out the road (if I rent a 350z). Need to make sure I don't treat it like an AWD car.

Soccer is going well. We won 2-0 tonight. I think we are finally getting some momentum in the positive direction after losing for so long. I am still not super comfortable at sweeper though.

I will have pictures from las vegas posted once I get back.

My speeding ticket getting, almost crashing, loud and gas guzzling, but I still love her mistress

It has been a while since I have posted anything. That tends to be the patterns these days. The next couple months will have some fun events, so I will be posting more photos and hopefully writing some more blog entries. So what is going to happen?

1. Work trip to Las Vegas, will be staying here, want to see one of these cirque shows, also want to go here
2. Going to Hueco! (not W - A - C - O, David Koresh Waco). Its going to be epic. I want to send v7 or v8. Not sure if that will happen though.
3. Lastly, I want to get another camera lens. Is it worth it? ... not sure yet.

I took some pictures of my car after I washed and detailed it. I am not usually the type to go and take pictures of my car, but it was clean and I didn't have any, so I did. It was also a good experience in just learning to how to shoot when the subject is a car. Next time I will pick a more picturesque location. I was running out of sunlight.
